One foot in front of the other foot

~ Emilie Autumn - One foot in front of the other
.
London: "How do we change the world to what we want it to be"
.

Hello maddies! I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the last bit of summer holidays. In September the concert of Emilie Autumn will take place. I'm still doubting to go since I don't know if I can return and I'm not planning to travel in Antwerp in the evening on my own. I'm kind of trilled to go since I really look up to her and I adore the stories behind her song. Her songs helped my a lot and now she has returned and sings in Antwerp, I really should go. Hopefully I will. I probably already talked about her a lot, but for the people who know her, why do you like her? I'm really curious. She inspired me with a lot of things, so I'm really thankful to her. For those who don't know here, you should really look her up! Her style is exceptional and her songs ones again have an amazing story to tell. The songs are dark but there is hope hidden in them, something that keeps you going.
"Hope leads to temptation and temptation lead to things we will often regret later. But without this hope humans will be plunged into the depths of despair, sinking deeper into the the pitch black earth. Humans can't reject temptation. They will search for something even if it's very tiny, something to hold on to. The thread they need to escape. Everybody searched for that thread, no matter what kind of humans they are!"

Zalando - Shoot Behind the Scenes

~ Arrietty -Sho's Lament
.
London: "Unwilling to listen or see anything else, you lost yourself in your own world and became incapable of seeing the things around you."
.

Yesterday we went to Antwerp to shoot for Zalando. The photographer was  Bram from GhentStreetstyle . He really can take amazing pictures. He works on his blog together with Karen (she is very kind as well!) and they show the most amazing streetstyles! So, be sure to check out their blog. It was a fun day, we amused ourselves very much and it was really relaxing during the exams. I, London, still have to take two exams. This Friday will be my last. Besides yesterday, nothing exciting has happened. I hope you guys have a move adventurous live! ^-^

4 Trends One Dress!

~ Gabielle Aplin - Don't say you love me
.
London: "Summer comes, winter fades. Here we are just the same!"
.
Have you already heard of the new season trends that will be spotted everywhere soon.  So be sure to check it out! We were inspired and thought to make four different outfits with one dress. Of course we added some new items to create the new style. This can be very handy if you have a meeting first and suddenly have to change because you  have to go to a party or festival. We kept it chic though it are four different styles. We hope to give you some inspiration and perhaps you can try the same! Let us know if you do!

What will I remember? What will I forget?

~ Emilie Autumn - What will I Remember
.
London: "Is my future my? God knows I have a past. Where's my second shapter, or will the first also be my last?"
.
These are the pictures of the picnic I had arranged of the beginning of July. It was a really great day and I'm sure we are going to do something fun like this together again! The sun wasn't shining when I took these pictures, but it was warm enough and luckily not raining.
Besides, I just discovered Emilie Autumn is coming to Antwerp soon, and I'm still doubting if I should go or if I can go. Perhaps another time, but I doubt it would be anytime soon she will return. I really like her newest album 'fight like a girl'. It really helped my a lot. I adore her lyrics and point of view.
Besides my sister also left on vacation and I'm feeling quiet lonely. I'm studying and working for school all the time though, but I have nobody to talk to in person now. At least I know she is enjoying her trip. (She probably has more fun them me now) Haha. Enjoy these pictures! Do you like picnics?

Beauty Review

~ Little Traveler
.
London: "While watching the sun sink into the desert, I reminisce about your shadow surrounded by the wind."
.

Hello dear maddies, it's been a while since we have posted something about beauty, but today we're giving you a review of something we have bought. It the 88 original Eye Shadow Palette.  You can choose bright colors or warm colors. We decided to take the bright colors because there were also browns in them. As you can see we also took two different eyelashes.
We searched some reviews since we didn't know what the quality would be, but apparently the reviews were pretty good so we decided to go for it.
.

At first: THE EYELASHES
The Package: It arrived without any damage because of the package, which is definitely a plus point. You can also put them back in the package when you want to keep them save! 9/10
The look:  The black ones are very fragile and I don't know the material of it, but it's very thick.  The feathers look very beautiful and better quality. I think the design at least deserves a 8/10!
The effect: I tried to put them on, but unfortunately the quality of the glue is horrible. I tried to put them on several time, but I did't succeed. Also, the glue is hard to get of your eyes, I had to really rub it off. I'm going to search another glue and let you know the effect later.
The Price: It's not very expensive in my opinion. They look very beautiful! The price for the 'Black cut out false eyelaces' is 4,51 euro and for the 'Dual tone false purple eyelaces' is 3,72 euro. 8/10
.

Secondly: THE PALETTE
The Package: Well, as you can see, the palette didn't arrive how it should have been. I don't know what happened, perhaps it had a rough travel, but I'm somehow thinking it's also because of the material of the package. The palette closes very well though and it doesn't opened quickly. (so you don't have to be afraid that your suitcase will be a mess.) The left side of my palette was actually wasted now and a part of the right side as well, which is kind of sad, but it's not the worse though. I tried opening and closing the box again, and I need to tell you that the eye shadow keeps coming of. So I advise you to be careful when you are planing to take it with you. Overall, the design looks very beautiful! 6/10
.

The Eye Shadow: As you can see, the Eye shadow doesn't look that bright on my hand and it is a little 'dusty'. But when I tried it on my eyelids, I was pretty satisfied. There is quiet a lot pigment in the colors and the variation of the colors is also very nice. The blending is a little difficult, but of you use enough eye shadow, than it works. 7/10
The Price: For a palette, it wasn't very expensive. You get a rather good quality for the price you payed. The "88 original eye shadow palette" did cost 14,88 euro. Besides that the shipping on Romwe is free, so you don't need to pay extra. 8/10

What matters most are the simple pleasures!

~ The Little Prince - Antione De Saint-Exupery
.
London: "What matters most are the simple pleasures so abundant that we can all enjoy them...Happiness doesn't lie in the objects we gather around us. To find it, all we need to do is open our eyes!"
.

It's been a while since these pictures were taken, but we wanted to show you them anyway since it was an amazing experience! We went to a picnic which was organized by: 'Het Oude Badhuis' in Antwerp. It is an social-cultural organisation that wants to gather people from the neighborhood. They organize different events like the picnic, music evenings and a lot more. It's also for the people struggling with a low income. I think it's an amazing organization since everybody can gather and have fun. You don't need much to be happy. Seeing the smiles on the peoples faces during this event was already more than enough to make me happy! We were the local photographers, and we have taken a lot more pictures, but I guess you should check out their facebook-page to see more! After the picnic you could join a tour through Antwerp with a guide, or you could join a workshop, like we did. You could also visit the farm that was temporary installed there! We had a lot of fun! What do you think of this kind of organizations?

You can make it all come true!

~Aloha E Komo Mai - Lilo and Stitch
.
London: "I can be lonely and you want to only find a place you don't need to hide"
.

Hello dear maddies! How are you all. Our birthday was on the 7th, and I must admit I start feeling old as I think about how old I'm going now, but no grey hairs yet, so I guess it's still fine. Monday Paris and I were spending some time in the shade from the threes since it was very warm. We decided to drink some Ice-tea and take some pictures. Between working for school, I allow myself to enjoy the sun sometimes since it's the only period we can still enjoy the sun and seeing Belgium is kind of a rainy country, I want to enjoy it as long as possible. Ow, and more good news, I have my own press for graphic design, so I can start making prints. Hoeray, I'm so happy! It looks really cool but it takes a lot of space in my room because I can print A2 with this press. x3  aah, I can't complain! Have a nice week!
